i am trying to copy a gif file from windows to qnx file system
the problem i have noticed is change from GIF to gif.
the file for example as seen in windows system is "NAME.GIF"
when i copy to a usb and try viewing the same under QNX file system the file is seen as "NAME.gif"
hence my script to copy  saying  " cp NAME.GIF  /home/Desktop"
fails always.

why is this change of "GIF" to "gif" happening.
whats the permanent solution
one solution will be to change it to small letters in my script
