Net.e1000 and PCI device 0x1502
Dear QNX4 supporters,

does someone already had the Intel Gigabit Chip with PCI device ID 0x1502 tested with Net.e1000?
I have an actual Lenovo T520 laptop in front of me with exactly these network chip.
When I look inside the Net.e1000 driver with spatch it seems that these device ID should be supported.
I'm using the Net.e1000 from May 2011 and the driver seems to start ("-vvv" output) but there is an error message:
"ERROR: Flash registers not mapped
NVM Initialization Error"

br,
Klaus

The driver needs to be updated, so once it is updated I¹ll send you a new
version.

Re: Net.e1000 and PCI device 0x1502
Thanks Hugh for the fast response!!

the driver is starting up correctly and I see the MAC using 'netmap' and 'netinfo -L1'.
But there are no packages going out on the ethernet interface. I see no packets using 'netinfo -L1' and also using
netinfo the 'Media Rate' is '0'.

On a PC connected directly to the QNX node I see also no packets using automap or entering a MAC address in the netmap
and make a sin to that node number.

br,
Klaus

If I slay and restart the Net.e1000 there is following error message coming:
MDI write did not complete
PHY Initialization Error
init_phy_params failed

OK, I¹ll take a look at it and get back to you.

Thanks, Hugh.

Thanks Hugh for the driver update.

I tested today and it seems to work. Even netinfo shows all necessary information.
