Oleg:

I tried testing the TCP/IP 5.10 Runtime but it is missing several programs most notably: Socket and Socklet.

Re: QNX 4 Product Suite 2010 EXPERIMENTAL
Hi Rob,

TCP/IP 5.x utilities were changed, so use Tcpip instead of Socket or
Socklet. Please, read TCP/IP 5.10 documentation after install to know
what's new.

Here is Additional Notes for the TCP/IP 5.0:

Re: QNX 4 Product Suite 2010 EXPERIMENTAL
Oleg:

Thanks for the quick response! I got it working. However, the TCP/IP 5.10 installer creates the tcpip.# file
(where # is the node - in my case node 8) in the /etc/config/bin directory referencing Socklet instead of Tcpip. There
was a sample/default file named tcpip.1 that I used as a template to fix my issue.

Re: QNX 4 Product Suite 2010 EXPERIMENTAL
Hi Oleg,

in the menu "set local time" of the QNX4 Installer 2010 I can select the years from 1997 to 2010 only. I used the
installer at 18.01.2011 and was not able to set the correct date.

This selection list should be changed to the years 2010-20xx.

Best regards
Hans-Peter

Hi Hans-Peter,

Thank you for remark. This mistake will be fixed in the release.

Re: QNX 4 Product Suite 2010 EXPERIMENTAL
Hi Oleg:

Unfortunately the 2011 date problem also exists in Product Suite 2009 and previous QNX cd's such as 4.25G.

I was installing a computer with Product Suite 2009 CD today and I got the same problem. I then tried QNX4.25G and got
the same problem again which I guess makes sense as it is all the same code.
Will this problem only be addressed in Product Suite 2010 ?
I guess the workaround would be to not enter a time and date during the QNX install so that the BIOS time would be used
( making sure that the BIOS time is reasonable of course). Then after installing QNX the time could be changed if
required using the date command and then the rtc command.
ie. date ddmmyy hh mm ss
     rtc -s hw
     rtc hw
