usb status for devices beyond tier 1? (QNX6.3.2)
I have a 4-port USB hub connected to my root hub in the CPU's USB controller. I'm trying to list the devices connected
to my 4-port hub. Sort of recursively identify the hierarchy of devices. the usb utility seems only to see the hub
itself, but not any of the devices connected to that hub.

My goal is to use Triadem's devu-ftdix32-speed driver to talk to my FTDI uart chip, but it doesn't see the devices
beyond the root hub either.

I tried the -vvv options to usb, to no avail. Any thoughts?

Are you sure the 4 port hub actually works?
Re: RE: usb status for devices beyond tier 1? (QNX6.3.2)
You are wise, sir! We had tested the hub at an earlier stage of assembly, but apparently something changed as we build
up our pc-104 stack. A simple substitution of a commercial hub works as expected.

Something we're pursuing now is that our custom hub shows up fine when I plug it into my Mac, and the "System Report"
shows the hub and all connected devices. Same experiment on QNX6.3.2 doesn't work.

Thanks for your helpful suggestion!

Might we worth putting a USB analyzer between the hub and the pc.
