I've been away from QNX for a while but was sad to hear that Photon was being retired.

Has there been any talk about releasing the Photon source code?

While this might sound like a really bad idea to some, back in the day, I really preferred writing Photon code to every 
other GUI API I've ever used...

Am I completely daft in thinking that an open-source Photon inspired graphics system would be of interest or use on non-
QNX platforms?
