The CollabNet Desktop for Microsoft Outlook provides a rich editor to work with TeamForge tracker artifacts.
Note: TeamForge 6.1 (and later) provides new ways to
increase the efficiency and usability of trackers in TeamForge projects. One of these features
allows tracker administrators to customize an artifact input form by grouping fields
into sections, each with its own arrangement of rows and columns. The Desktop
artifact editor is consistent with the field layout in the TeamForge server.
The Artifact Editor option is available for tracker artifacts in the Site Explorer, as well as Outlook mail items generated from TeamForge sites you've added to the Site Explorer.
Artifact Editor toolbar
- Copy the URL of the artifact to the clipboard.
- Clear all outgoing changes and reset the artifact to its original state.
- See the list of users monitoring the artifact.
- Refresh the editor with the data in the server.
- Open the artifact in the integrated
browser.
